I have played soccer most of my life, one of the things I recognized at an early age is, that not many little girls who look like me play. Through my journey, I have come to the conclusion that soccer is not very common for black girls to participate in. My goal is to provide an opportunity to help increase interest and minimize the financial expectations for little black girls in soccer. I would love to see more little black girls find their love for the game of soccer and teach them how to utilize the game to help strengthen their confidence. I am fully committed to empowering little black girls through soccer and modeling what I believe can help them know that they can still become someone great in an environment that is not particularly built to reach everyone.
